Adding images and videos helps make your posts more appealing. Apart from embellishing your posts, it enables readers to interact with your content and understand your information better, as our brains processes visual information faster than text.

Here are some ways you can add images and videos to your posts.

Divi Builder Modules – Image, Video & Gallery

Now that you have learnt how to create posts in WordPress, enhance them by adding images and videos.

Add single images to the Image module or embed videos using the Video module. You can also upload a series of photographs and use the Gallery module to organise them in grid form or as a slider. Here is an example of a Gallery in slider form.

JuxtaposeJS is a free online tool that allows readers to compare two pieces of similar images. Visualize the contrast between a historical site and its current state, or show how a single event have affected a particular location.

Here, our slider shows how NTU’s Lee Wee Nam Library has changed since 2012.

A JuxtaposeJS slider is very easy to create. Follow the instructions in their editor tool, and embed your completed slider into a Text module.

ThingLink is an online annotation tool. It enables you to add interactive tags to your images. Annotate your content with your findings through texts, images and rich media tags.

Fun fact: The People page on this site was created in ThingLink! – see right

Other than standard images, you can also annotate videos and 360° images. However, while the image editor is available to basic account holders, a subscription is required to access the video and 360° editor.

If you do decide to invest in a subscription, here is an example of a 360° site tour you can create!
